Happy Halloween to all our faithful readers. Your humble blogger’s kids are grown and mostly away to college, but we have fond memories of watching “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” with our gang.
This annual tradition began with the 1966 American prime time animated television special based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. It was the third Peanuts special (and second holiday special, following “A Charlie Brown Christmas”) to be produced by Mr. Bill Melendez. Some interesting trivia on the show here.
This year, as well, our thoughts and prayers go out to all suffering from the impacts of Hurricane Sandy.
